Ten months ago I traveled northward with Kirsten to watch the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Tennessee Titans on her 16th birthday. We had so much fun that we decided to pick another "away" game this year that would be exciting and fit her schedule.
We chose Indianapolis — home to the Colts (the team everyone is trying to beat).

A long journal entry is not necessary. The pictures tell the story.

Flying to Indianapolis

Saturday night in downtown Indy

Wake up... are you ready for some football?

A lot of hot air

Puncture wound to the right foot

Outside the RCA Dome

Pregame lunch

Somewhere in the downtown mall

After we ate some lunch it was time to apply the face paint

Fierce (in a funny sorta way)

This mascot has NOTHING on Jaxon

Our first look at the field.

View of endzone jumbotron

In our seats just before game time

MJD had a breakout game.

Peyton's Place

warm ups

"Yeah, we just did our Move Those Chains cheer for the tenth time".

Kinda look like Jim Carey in "The Mask"

The final time out. Colts with the game in hand.

The advantage of a dome. Streamers and confetti fall from above.

...more confetti

A sea of blue floods the streets after the Colts beat the Jags
